2. The Grand Canyon
One of the most well-known destinations in Arizona is the Grand Canyon National Park. If moving to Arizona, traveling to see the Grand Canyon is a must. The canyon was carved by the Colorado River over many years.
When looking down, you can see the river at the bottom of the canyon. Head to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to look over the edge in amazement. You can even choose to ride a mule through the canyon or hike it.
3. The Hoover Dam
Constructed in 1935, the Hoover Dam stretches across the Colorado River. Visitors can walk or drive across the dam for some great scenery. There are guided tours of the dam that you can schedule if you want to learn as much about the dam as possible from a knowledgeable tour guide.
The dam is located along the border of Nevada and Arizona. It's also not too far of a drive from Las Vegas, which makes a perfect day trip!
4. The Four Corners Monument
If you've ever wished you could be in two places at once, then you're in luck. You can be in four places at once when you visit The Four Corners Monument. This monument is located in the Navajo Tribal Park.
The corner is the only place where four different states meet and touch corners. The states include Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. Check the hours before arriving and plan for a day away from civilization.
